    After many years of living nearby I thought it was finally time to stop by and try Higher Grounds. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and found parking immediately a couple of doors down from the restaurant. Every table was taken as I walked in. I ordered the Chicken Delight, to go. Each crepe comes with a side of potatoes and a salad. Two people had each placed their orders before me so I knew it was going to take some time, especially as there's only one person running the spot. After approximately 15 to 20 minutes my order was packed up and ready for me to pick up. I was able to sit down to eat it 10 minutes later and the food was hot and fresh. The crepe was filled with chicken and vegetables. The potatoes were well seasoned and the salad had a nice dressing. Overall, I was pleased with the qualify of the dish and the portion size. This is a nice local spot in Glen Park. Be prepared to have a relaxing breakfast, brunch or lunch. This is a one man operation, after all. There's seating inside and some tables outside. Cash only.

    Homey local cafe situated in the corner. Feels like being in some grandparents' home; the owner is a one man show who does everything - order, cook, clean. I had a savory crepe which comes with small potatoes and green salad. Wonderful visit to soak in the neighborhood flavor.

    Cute little place that specializes in coffee and crepes. The savory crepes come with potatoes and salad and are very filling. A large selection to choose from as well as omelettes. Everything is made to order and is very fresh. Crepes run about $14-17 each.
